We use the information above to identify scanned cards, display market prices, sync your collections across devices, enforce free-tier limits, provide Pro subscription features, and operate and improve the service.
We share data only with the providers needed to run CardVal:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of users, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information).
Your account data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app under Profile → Delete Account, or by emailing us. You can also email us to request a copy of your data or to correct it. Subscriptions are billed through Apple and must be cancelled separately in your device's Settings → Subscriptions.
All communication between the app and our servers uses encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
CardVal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
